Hi, I am Jay,

Ever since I was a child, architecture has been more than just buildings to me—it has been about creating experiences. Growing up in China and later studying to the U.S., I was exposed to diverse architectural styles, which shaped my appreciation for spatial design and cultural narratives.

Now, as a senior architecture student at the University of Maryland, my work is driven by a desire to merge sustainability with timeless design principles. My portfolio includes projects ranging from intimate art galleries to expansive urban plazas, all designed with a keen focus on material innovation and ecological impact.

I believe architecture should not only serve its functional purpose but also inspire and tell a story. Through my academic research and hands-on projects, I continuously explore how design can foster deeper connections between people and their environments.
